More often than not this flaw makes play next to impossible. If you want a real music game, buy Beat Hazard and never look back.. Holy hell this thing is a weird pile of crap. A rhythm game with wonky beat detection that changes everything around the music's speed or tempo is not a good setup. Still, if you like grinding out crap or 'endless' modes that don't track score or really exist for anything other than making you grind out the score-tracking modes (this is a real thing in this game, just like "use a powerup X times to make the next one appear, so you can use IT Y times to... etc.") then congrats. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ MMO skill grinding has come to Rhythm Zone!Wait no Rhythm Zone is still the worst music title on Steam, but not by much so long as Turba's around to hold the bag.. This game is one of those games where I'd wish there was a neutral recommendation button. It's a fun game where the tiles fill the screen according to the tempo of the song you play, but the beat-accuracy of this game is lacking. And since the difficulty of a song is related to it's tempo, having poor accuracy makes for some odd play. It's a good game otherwise.. Never really seems to work correctly. When using music you're familiar with, the beats never seem to be in the place you think they should.Otherwise, yet another score-chaser without any additional goals.. After playing this, here's what I thought: Audiosurf is truly a masterpiece.. I'm not surew here I got htis game, but I saw it in my library and figured I'd try it. Honestly it is not very good :( The music that comes with it is a bit annoying. The gameplay is bad, and I'm not a fan of what I think they were going for, which is a bland thing to try to be. Best of luck to the devs though, I'm sure the next one they do will be a bit better. :)Positives are that the gameplay appears to be simple, at the very least, the gameplay shown by the tutorial.. I agree with many other on here. Fantastic concept and could be a great game...if the beat detection worked properly.
